Sylvana Rosende

Sylvana is the Managing Partner at Rosende Paul. Sylvana practices probate, estate planning, elder law, and guardianship law. She has extensive experience representing beneficiaries, fiduciaries (administrators, executors, trustees, and guardians), and handling contested trust, estate, and guardianship litigation. Sylvana also handles complex estate and trust administration.

Originally from Miami, Sylvana has been involved in the legal field since a young age. She earned her bachelor's degree from Florida International University and graduated with honors from St. Thomas University College of Law. Throughout law school, Sylvana excelled academically, receiving CALI Book Awards in Legal Research and Writing as well as in Advanced Legal Research and Writing. She obtained an Elder Law Certificate for her studies in guardianship and elder law and consistently made the Dean's List. During her time in law school, Sylvana gained valuable experience interning for the Chief Judge of the Probate Division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami, focusing on probate and guardianship cases.

Currently, Sylvana is the first Fellow of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar. Sylvana also sits on the board of directors of the MDFAWL Foundation where she helps raise funds and advocate for women and minorities in the legal profession. Sylvana advocates for the rights of the elderly and changes in legislation to protect this group.

In her leisure time, Sylvana enjoys spending quality time with her family, playing with her goldendoodle’s Leia and Brooklyn, and watching football with her husband!
